Now is all we have. Digital painting has become one of my favorite expressions these days. The paintings/drawings will be accompanying my posts now that I’ve rejoined AuthorsDen after a long absence.
It is not yesterday
or tomorrow
neither later, nor sooner —
not standard or daylight.
It can be right, the time, lucky
or wrong, unwantedly costly.
I wish I had that skill and could illustrate my poems with it.

When I wake up at night, usually at least 10 times to be turned, I look at the clock and wish for time to move on from the now to the morning wake up time so my night is over of watching the clock every time I wake up.
An intriguing piece of wordsmithing. The picture was perfect. Reminds me of the many times I search around for surreal pictures of everyday experiences and often find that a found picture dictates the poem. This felt like that. Bravo. Keep writing now. I'll be looking daly for your work.
