I'm trying to figure out if he is a real Internet poet… And I think he is, or your poem is a reflection of the drawing that you made so beautifully of this man of your imagination.
It's a tossup, but either way showing great creativity and a bit of reality (dogs are generally more lovable than their masters) for the reader to enjoy.
You have that knack for bringing smiles and pauses to think into your writings. We can use more of this for morning's first hours when the motivation to see life a bit lighter is hard to come by... especially, if like me, one gets the news under his or her belt before work begins.
