that was amazing. it must be nice to still be receiving letters these days and hear the sender's voice while reading the letter.and evoke from the reader so many emotions. thank you for this piece. i loved it.
Indeed, as we poets know, words have a special power, that is why we must take care to carefully choose the right words. As you poem says, they do so much.
An eloquent proffering of the simplest, yet at times, the most complex challenge a letter into a word, a paragraph, a stanza, or a song is challenged with. Your capitalization of SHOUT works well, as in a symphony where the sonata-allegro form starts, then the lyrical, followed by the scherzo and then the final movement returning once again to the sonata-allegro. Really enjoyed reading this several times. Very musical.
