Awareness is everything.

(Photo I took along the shore of the Columbia River near White Salmon, WA) Courage on Fire Keep watching, keep looking Keep listening day and night long — For something elevated’s coming Both forth and back and beyond. Keep singing together Until every language knows the song And the sound becomes greater Than the smoke in the air.

redemption�and deliverance�
Very carefully and subtly expressed�
Which carefully adds to its impact�
An outstandingly stunning photo
which helps to add to our awareness of

A noble aspiration, succinctly put; sadly, the smoke in the air is still think and pungent. Love the photo. Nature's moment captured.

Makes me think of the line from the song, "I am the God of hellfire! And I bring you fire! We all have to sing the same song when that begins to happen. Great metaphor.

But you show one of those pleasant sunsets that we've been seeing lately. Perhaps there is a bright ending after all the smoke clears.

Sadly, few of our poets can put together metaphors, similes--laying in a dab of the enigma--and present a canvas of colors whose audacious movement and blending work so seamlessly as your talented pen can create. Yes, the smoke seems to get thicker and thicker.
