You don't know how many times I've done that. Apparently you have too in order to write this assessment of the ability of nightly rest to clear our minds.
Interesting to me are these 4 lines of what could be a prayer... as fact simile is for me. I inevitably ask for restful sleep and the absence of nightmares each night when I retire and place my body in a position of rest. On those nights not capped by clouds, I too find the moonlight a means of solace before closing my eyes. Thank you for reminding us of how simple, yet for some, how hard it might be to lay their troubles down to rest.
