Poem Artwork

My heart crushes under the pressure of

Overwhelming situations of which I have

No control, no way to slow down

The tap tap tap of numbers

Flung at me from many directions

Make it happen make it work

No time for pleasure when the weight

Of the formula bounces erratically

Never in a straight line or according to the

Plan which was put in place and constantly

Modified to fit the requirements of others

No black and white uniformity but

Splatters of red contaminating the paper

On which I feverishly attempt to reach

A bottom line pleasing to all.

Excellent poem.
But, to be honest, I cannot really figure out what's on the photo?

An excellent job, Poet. Some days are easier than others. One should never lose sleep or worry about anything which is beyond ones control. Everything will wash out in the end.

really enjoyed this one, Anne and even though I tend to avoid numbers at all costs, I felt the high tension and pressure in this write!

These Black and Blue Red Zone Days by Aberjhani

Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.
