Poem Artwork

I will dance away from your life...

Laughing over my shoulder at you as I go

Leaving you to banquet on the crumbs

of the pain you served so well

Sipping the dregs of my tears

from your chalice of discontent

I will shed the bruised carcass,

you marked so well

with your bitter cruel hand

shrugging it off with careless indifference

my body healing in the suns soft warmth

my mouth...scorched..

by your acid tongue

That so savoured the taste of my pain...

smiles....

intoxicated at the sight of surprise

etched onto your admantine face

relishing the stiletto wound of shock

piercing your acrid flesh

dancing,dancing...

head flung back in joy

free of your barren sterile love

your rapacious soul..

I will feast at the table of freedom

Drink deeply  from the goblet of life

smash the mirror of your distortions

 under my dancing feet

shorn of you forever

i dance loves dance

laughing......

cherishing the dessert of your despair

I can't think of any flippant remark to make about this one. well written and full of feeling. You have a Spanish background but a Celtic soul.
