This is a Haiku about the mountains in Haiti through the voice of my father. His favorite Haitian old saying used to be, "Deye mo-n gen mo-n" which means, "Behind the mountains are more mountains."
Father always said,
“Behind the mountains are more
Mountains and mountains.”
A further collection of poems, many from years in the Middle East, but also the California San Francisco and Central Coast areas (Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, Berkeley, etc.).

"There is always a mountain higher than the other." - means -
"We cannot claim that we are smart, for there is always another person who can outsmart us."
Your father is a wise man.
