Every time I look around I see the changes inside me the changes inside you And I wonder if it should’ve could have ever lasted with everything that we went through The answer lies a mystery like smooth rounded glass beads forged beneath the sea Washed upon the shore we can hold them to our eyes and watch the sunset see the changes of our lives in different hues Just me and you

It just happens with or without our knowing why. But the seashore is a magical place where one can find the ocean's patient grinding of opal and other crystals into round beads that offer a different view or hue when looked through. A good analogy for our lives.
