Passion’s Afterglow
BY: Felix L. Perry
In the afterglow, of love’s sweet flow
When the last quiver of passions spent
In dark of night, hide in plain sight
Will our desire lead to us to repent
Warm breast meets lips, hands grip hips
Beneath cool red satin sheets
Bodies entwine, both hers and mine
Famished lust in a moment’s heat
The murmured sighs, so like the cries
Of a broken hearted lonely fool
Drips like cream, on a romance dream
Now buried with the golden rule!
