We all have a secret place deep within us that we tend to keep secret but every now and then...someone or somthing finds away to open the space and accept what they find...

Smouldering Flames

By Fee

If I looked deep into your mind

To that secret place you seldom go

If I touched your spirit ever softly

Where only love is free to flow

If I touched a place that needed touching

A place that no one else looked for

If I offered just some sweet acceptance

Something you thought lost forever more

If I held the promise of tomorrow’s light

In the simple shadows of our past

If I fanned the flames that smoulder

Could your doubts finally be cast

Into the abyss of bewilderment

Mistaken once too often fading fast

Because no one ever asked…

In the tender spots of hide and seek

The soothe the painful dreams of past

Darlin cuz I wish my man could write romance as you do, your words are always so tender, soothing and inviting. But then again not many men do. With the exception to the men on the den of course.

Love you Cuz,

Fee--this is a beautiful piece of longing I think everyone does relate to. The hope to find that special person who can knock down those walls we all build.
Funny, makes me think of someone massaging my shoulders. It is truly relaxing.

One would need to be their fearless selves or perhaps the last great act of their desperation to wonder into that secret place and to be that first to ask.
