It is always nice when two people meet and find fulfillment...

The Meeting

By: Fee

The crickets sang their mating song

Beneath the harvest moon above

Stars and fireflies competed

Trying to spark new love

The lady sat in the lonely silence

That should have been for two

Breathed the scent of Jasmine

Wondering what to do

The man watched her in a fever

Lust, desire, something more

He only felt the flutter

Melting in his core

The band packing up their gear

Lights clicked off one by one

She looked up and saw him

His smile a loaded gun

She took his outstretched hand

Dancing to the jukebox dime

The world just stopped turning

In that that magic time

Carried her to a bed of lace and frills

They stripped all that was before

Hot naked skin to naked skin

They couldn’t ask for more

All night long they made sweet love

Like a virgin groom and bride

Morning blessed the union

Two hearts no more denied…
