In Dreams

I saw you in my dreams last night

with a scent of lilac in your hair

You whispered how you loved me

how you wished that I was near

 

In my dream I felt your hair cascade

to brush shivers on my skin

Your lips whetted by your tongue

        spoke of sweet delicious sin

 

In my sleep your body snuggled mine

        two spoons nestled on a tray

I felt your tongue set fire to my skin

        in passion’s night time play

 

I felt the world spin out of control

        in this dream of you and I

We reached that spot close to the sun

        where only white doves fly

 

I woke up from my dreams alone today

        tangled sheets strangling my heart

Yes last night I saw you in my dreams

        but this morning we’re apart…

Dayummmmmmmm.... this is so vividly described I thought I was there!!! But, hang on a mo... yes I was... at least, in the waking part, all knotted up in me own sweaty sheets... and just a white feather on the mattress next to me... Interesting....!!!! :)) xx

Only in your dreams sweet Felix. We are safe as long as they are dreams, sometimes people can get in a lot of trouble if it wasn't a dream and it included another person other then our spouce. Another great write Cuz. I always love what you share from that heart of yours. thank you.

That makes two of us, Fee. We are both beautiful dreamers. Some people from the last site that I went to asked me when am I going to wake up from my dreams, and I often answered, "Why should we wake up from any beautiful dreams?"
