Lady In Waiting

Another picture I found that seemed to speak the words to me so all I had to do was type them out...hope you enjoy.

Lady In Waiting

 

In the maples now nude of leaf

On a bench that secrets share

Sat the maiden sore of heart

Waiting, waiting…waiting there

 

 

Love prose a promise whispered

Still lingers on the misted air

Holds the fading promise closely

Waiting, waiting…waiting there

 

 

North wind sings a song so lonely

An owl questions who will care

Teardrop marks her true heart’s longing

Waiting, waiting…waiting there

 

 

Through the woods a song of summer

A sealed kiss on the lips of her lover dear

Miles he’s covered to be with this lady

 

Waiting, waiting…waiting there…
