Poem Artwork

In the moonlight of our love…

Night brings full cycle our day to close
smell the tide mingle with the wild sweet rose

Sipping wine and nibbling on old cheddar cheese
Mr. Moon become my best friend if you please

Our fingers entwine in that age old comfort
connection of flesh and bone that time cannot abort

Rapidly breathing as your eyes gaze into mine
I savor the taste of looking at you so very fine

We dance together to a scratchy old album song
played on an old windup Victrolla that seems to belong

Sparks of fire quickly ignited as skin rubs on skin
your kisses so tantalizing they should be a sin

Under an old country quilt and beneath the stars up above
Sharing our passion making sweet moonlight love!

Your piece is chock full of soft, romantic and sensuous images and I can almost feel the ocean mist and my toes wiggling into the sand. This moonlight poem is just beautiful, Fee ... passionate and loving and feels like the perfect place to be. Beautifully captured! ~Elizabeth

Fee, the lasses are fainting all around that beach, you should do something, like mouth to mouth?
