Poem Artwork

another sea smoke winter morning

even the seagulls refuge seek

bitter is January's killing wind

for the tiny and the weak

the warmth of the holidays is over

spring is but a vague reality

summer's heat is wishful thinking

as I look across the frozen sea

then hauntingly I see your image

an outline sketched on gray

I think I hear you calling me

though I can't hear what you say

in the mist you smile just for me

that sparks a fire quick to ignite

now I feel toasty warm all over

knowing...

everything is going to be all right

Love, glowing and warm to stave off the relentless bite of January's insatiable lust for howling north winds. Courage blooms in an adoring smile and gleaming eyes. A romantic rendering Felix. I bid you love and peace my dear friend. Jon Michael

I like how you paint a bleak picture in the beginning and then transform it into something warm and cozy. Nice:)

Beautiful words that encapsulate your visual as well as our hearts, Felix. The little dashes of foam in the picture are like the warm hot-cocoa feel that wraps us around having read this down to the very last drop! You and your camera work well together. xx
