Dream Collector

Alone at the end of the day

if you walk down to the shore,

You may hear a voice say

“Babe, I love you more”

Very first star in the sky

Shines bright in the blue,

But you’ll know it is me

Home star-gazing for you

If hints of a warm breeze

Should caress your face,

It’s my subtle reminder

Our love the miles won’t erase

lonely summer night yearning

Keeps you alive in my heart,

I’m sweet dream collecting

Like I’ve done from the start!

Looking at the picture and seeing the lines puts a reader in the somber and reflective moment in which you're expressing in words... Thanks for sharing...

Oh Fee, you sound so distant and sad, but it is soooo good to read you words again. The ocean has a way of reaching deep within and bringing to light what we sometimes depress. Beautiful writing...

Be always safe,
Karen
