Inspired by a painting by a local artist bringing back memories of girls with long blonde hair adorned with wild flowers...

I Wish I Was Still A Hippie Art of: Paulette Violette-Kempton Words of: Felix Perry We’d put flowers in our hair Let it grow down to our ass Drank beer and had a great time The Stones and smoking grass That blonde girl down at Woodstock In bell bottoms and halter top Man, she sure could make a heart beat Or could charm a traffic cop Now I saw her down at the Walmart Short pixie cut in silver gray You know, damn she still looked hot as hell What we’d call groovy in our day.

It is cool that some girls don't age. And I learned early that the best way to gauge what a girl would be like would be to take a good look at her mother and almost certainly she would head in that direction. ;-)

I believe that girl you're writing about is still here and posts on AD. Unfortunately like the rest of us, she has to go to Walmart now that they have taken over all the quaint little stores in most little towns.
