*Love, Smiles and Tears* *I will love you forever…* *she said through smiles and tears* *I’m sorry I was just too busy* *It hurt, but he let it go* *I need more space please understand* *He smiled hoping it didn’t show* *I think it’s you that is to blame* *He thought perhaps she’s right* *I love you but our love cannot be* *He cried alone at night* *I think we need some time apart* *He had no choice but to agree* *She said she’d love him forever* *But she needed to be free* *Said you’ll always be my best friend* *I’ll love you forever, only you* *Then she let love fade into a dream* *Through those smiles and tears so true ….*

I don't care how insistently someone declares their love for you, if they're leaving you for themselves it's themselves they love most.

I guess it's better to have a honest, loving end to an affair or marriage rather than an angry one usually flamed higher by lawyers eager to ramp up the anger for more fee.
