I Don’t Play My Guitar Anymore By: Fee *No, I don’t play my guitar anymore,* *It just sits there, silent by the door* *A victim of a broken heart for sure* *No, I don’t play my guitar anymore* I used to love to sing our sweet love song Back then I thought I knew where I'd belong Then you left and took with you my heart Now if I sing somehow it just seems wrong Chorus Now my old guitar’s out of tune and so am I Could be the teardrops and the hurting, my oh my SometimesI want to sing but I don't have the heart Nor can I find one good reason why Chorus Tonight again, I’ll take a walk down by the shore Think I’ll listen to the crashing waves once more Maybe it's time I left my guitar in the past Because, I can’t sing those love songs any more…

This is purely beautiful. It carries the genuine feeling without the make up. I would never call this a sentimental piece of writing. It is too artful. ~~ djl

A deep hurt can do that to you. But a deep hurt can also be an inspiration for some of the best songs ever written. This is a departure for you from your usual love poem, but I think that you got a great job with this especially with that matching scene.

I'm so glad that you and your wife can still do the light fandango. You made me recall the times that I danced with my girlfriend in clubs and she had to hold me up the whole time because I was constantly in the process of falling down. Strangely, because of her grace, people in the club would give us the clap!

I can relate. My instrument was my voice. I was always singing. There seemed to be a song for every occasion and I had quite the repertoire. Singing got me through many sad times, until I had one heartbreak too many. Then it was like all the joy went out of it. That was years ago. I'm just now beginning to hum again
