If some day your heart starts aching

A vague yearning you can’t explain

Just reach out and I’ll be there waiting

To kiss away your heartache’s pain

 

I’ll be waiting where you left me

Where the waves break on the shore

I gave my heart forever to you

Forever behind an unlocked door

 

If someday that door should open

You’ll find two arms to hold you tight

Two lips to whisper in your ear

I still love you day and night…
