I have written of forbidden love several times and I always think of what would it be like if one of them was suddenly unable to continue the relationship. The love is still there, the longing, but something insurmountable gets in the way. This is especially true of young people whose parents still hold the reins. I like to think that the feelings remain or are reduced to embers, rather than ashes, and they are one day reunited. But then, I'm a hopeless romantic.

Reflects many a rebel relationship. Love changes over time and you beautifully describe what happens in your few words that are so personal that it makes one think. In our teens we are naturally rebellious. So many have made that mistake.
