Poem Artwork

~Moonlight ~

sand still holding the warmth
gathered throughout the day
surf crawling up the beach
sandpipers scurry to get away

like a silver gossamer scarf
across waves the moonlight drapes
under stars in a velvet sky
made for romantic escapades

come my love and lie with me
in the warmth of the sand
emotions transcending erotic bliss
explored with passions hand

rapturous warmth will cover us
as surf slowly kisses our length
with foamy fingers caressing each curve
softly then gaining strength

moonlight enfolding us
in an amorous golden glow
glistening in the drops of moisture
as they slide like silk to our toes

the seductive songs of the sea
over us hover
sandy warmth beneath us
on this night for lovers

to partly recall your poem-I think that if any man was to lie with you in the sand they would not be eager to leave-You should write a romance novel
