This is a stunning piece of work. The rhythm and rhyme are in beautiful balance. *In Memory of the Challenger* is gorgeous tribute to a group of people who knew the risks but did it anyway.

I live in Florida and lived here when the Challenger went up. I'll never forget the tragedy.

tribute to something that can almost go by
with a deep sadness and laspe in the backround

I remember coming home for an early lunch that day and seeing the streamers from the explosion in the eastern sky. I didn't know until I turned on the television that the Challenger had exploded. My father worked closely on the Columbia/Challenger development team and most of my childhood was wrapped up in that project in one way or another. I can't recall ever seeing my father look as sad as he did that day. Such a loss for everyone...their families, friends, collegues, and the nation. This is a beautiful tribute to some exceptionally brave pioneers who died doing what they loved doing. Bless you for your lovely words. Michelle

This is truly beautiful and yes my nephew lived in Florida when the tragedy happened. My daughter was sixteen at the time and none of us could believe it. Yes they did touch the hand of God.
