*~ Thoughts on Inspiration ~* *Imagining that art, any art* *comes out of nowhere* *like it is a brand new concept* *connotes a foolish lack of wisdom* *The greater truth is* *that everything, no matter the art form* *every word written* *each verse that is composed* *comes out of something that precedes it* *It is a chain of human responses* *passing on from other impressions* *and the power of the written word* *can never be standardized or mechanized* *it is unique unto itself* *Learning how to feel* *by listening to the nature of your mind* *acquiring inspiration, making something* *all your own out of things absorbed* *from echo�s and borrowings* *and just living* *� April 1, 2005* *By Carole Mathys*

my dear friend this is an outstanding write
makes me want to search deeper into the unknown
portion of my sole
for that One "Poem" or poetic subject,
