Thoughts of you keep flowing

through my mind, this endless day

I am so lonely without you

Just touching you and I feel it all again

it could have been someone else

to awaken me from sorrow

I am so glad it was you

I wish each day was like that day

as our awareness grew

I remember the touch of your hands

as they memorized me

How your skin feels next to mine

 your body embracing mine in warmth

on my lips your kisses show

I love to lie beside you

and watch you sleep

holding you near at night

in our own paradise

and closer when I wake

Whispering what’s in my heart

and seeing you in the morning

still takes my breath away

So many thoughts we’ve left unsaid

as we savor sensuous delights

Should time and space separate us

my heart would weep

but never be sorry for the gift of you

for you gave me back

the gift of loves possibilities
