I envision a white bird of peace looking at the world from on high If he had the power of thought would he ponder on this, the same as I ~~ If I could catch the moon in a bottle would it still shine upon us with out cease If I could string all the stars like pearls would they twinkle for a world not at peace ~~ If I could take all of the mountains and put them in neat straight lines Or line up all the rivers to run side by side would the world see we need peace all of the time ~~ If I would take all of the oceans and could calm and tame the seas Or store all the rain drops in a barrel would people try harder to keep peace free ~~ Another year is upon us will the world heal the wounds and see A beginning must be made and peace has to begin inside you and me ~~ I believe in reaching out to others and touching from the heart I believe that if we touch enough people a gift of friendship and peace we can impart ~~ My prayers seem so small all alone but when many pray there is power And the power of prayers can change the world in only hours
Peace to you this wonderful season of the year. May you continue to write us these blessinga and words of comfort.

Carole this is so heartfelt in all ways it is absolutely beautiful sad and such a very wonderful pondering poem
If only we could have peace. This earth will be peaceful always after it burns and is reborn. Beautiful poem. Brings tears and a comfort to vision.
