*~ View from the Top ~* *A heavy haze is rolling in* *settling over the mountains* *draping them in a cloak of gray* *hiding the sun* *that earlier warmed* *the rolling green hills* *This is a place where nature plays* *a perfect spot to stop and rest* *as beauty around you spills* *Peace and tranquility* *surround you as you pause* *among the hills* *Serenity seems to seep from nature* *like a warm cape* *that caresses your soul* *Your peaceful interlude is interrupted* *the storm is moving toward you* *as dark rain filled clouds* *billow and roll closer* *swallowing up the landscape* *� 2006* *Carole Mathys*

A perfect capture of that moment in nature when there is the impact and then the transition... the comfort around the shoulders that makes you feel warmly at one with the world - and then the slight detachment and the "push" to move on and move away.
