Hi AD family, sorry I haven't been as active of late as I would've liked, but work is taking up a lot of my time...life has got busy all of a sudden. So to keep things ticking over for now, here's another re-post from Tales From the Apocalypse, that's had a bit of a re-jig. Seems quite appropriate at the moment having read what they've recently done with human embryos...we can only watch and wait, it's a case of Sci-fi becoming Sci-fact. Lets hope it doesn't become a horror story.

Yup, like Aber-di-man says, this is an accomplished write that is, perhaps, a demonstration of what you talk about here: past and present meeting at the table of man-gods. This has the energy of combustion about it, Paul... rumbling away... makes me think volcano... and that the melting pot of "all things becoming one" in terms of God/man creation/created is somehow NOT meant to be... perhaps THAT is the most scary genetically engineered crime that we don't even consider IS one?! Mind you, God is, perhaps, just to gracious to say "Know Thy Place"... he has given us freewill, after all. Give me Eden any day... don't think I'd touch the Tree of Knowledge with a barge pole! An exceptionally fine and lean write that captures and communicates a great deal about the potential blessing and curses of technology. I think your blending of classic meter with futuristic concepts and imagery a very admirable and exciting achievement.
