I really must lay off the mushrooms lol.

Poem Artwork

Of Faust and Anvils.

And thoughts compressed by the attitude of anvils

their purpose laid bare.

Marking his day

wing-torn,

spewing vitriol,

love and deference clothed in black,

dancing disquiet, assaulting a labyrinthine mind.

Poet, avert not your eyes,

record how the Devil and

all his rapacious reptilian rebels danced

the hand-jive in the pet cemetery.

Then mount your words upon

a velour steed with all haste, and ride forth

from this crowded house of confusion.

With a lexicon wisely applied the poemization of a vision was poetized to stand the test of the millennia, and to stimulate and guide all its generations to an intellectual riding through the cosmos of imagination of the doers. "Of Faust and Anvils" has deposited its savings in the bank of POETRY in trust for The Major Art.

Glad to be here to learn from the this poem, "Of Faust and Anvils".

Gratefully,

The mushrooms sure don't seem to be interfering negatively with your writing, Paul. Thank you for sharing your gift. Love and peace,

a very stimulating poem prompting the poet to confront confusion and the attitudes of dross elements that only weigh down the creative spirit ...

You took off into another galaxy with this one Paul!
Awesome poem on several levels.

Away in haste leave earths dirt and grime behind,
enter into the stardust of heaven...
That's what you made me think;-)

An amazing poem, Paul. Your last two stanzas sing to me loud and CLEAR! Yes, indeed run away from muddy confusion. We're all too often stuck there and keep repeating ourselves, not letting our thoughts fly free to create any thing of real worth! Send me some of those mushrooms you're eating, will you? ~~Carmen

Paul,

Wow. A fantastic exhortation if there ever was one. Darkness, yes, but bursts with illuminative LIGHT! Thank you--enjoyed this trip. :)

EXACTLY! Paul, I would be happy to mount! This so makes me want to go hunt up a carousel and buy a big girl a ticket to ride with me! This Screams! There is no confusion when straddled upon the Standers, Jumpers, and Top-Knots, the carousel ponies in the show ring! Gliding up and down with a wide vertical smile, Paul. Thanks for letting me be in the accompany of your artistry for reviving merriment! A fantastical whimsy! Now this is what I meant by Psychotrance: Liquid Mushroom. It's all in the mind and it just needs the poet to retrieve the colors! So Fine! Poetry of Inner Imagery!

A dark and brooding composition that exhorts the poet and artist to rise above his own rebellious and undisciplined mind, to the Valhalla of total self expression !
You have a unique modus operandi Paul...preserve it jealously !
The mushrooms are quite good with fried duck Paul...try it...lols...Huo Soo!!!
