Sing me a song that will Brush out strained hearts, Hearts that wail in anguish. Sing me a song that Will freshen imaginations, Imaginations that Traverse far and wide. Sing me a song - A cooing ditty that Unbind fetters - Fetters that lacerate Decimated souls. Sing me a song that is loud and clear; A song that pricks Their innards and protests Their unjust manners Let fettered souls sing, Let mannacled souls sing, Let mangled bodies wail, Let the poet sing, With passion for Sweet melodies of tomorrow Emeka Chike Nwogu �
