Broken Doll

a little dark, but the heart feels what it feels.

You said you’d always be there


You said I was beautiful


Then, you threw me away.


A broken doll on the floor


Among the dirt and ashes of your lies


Fueled and burned by my broken heart.


They smear me with their filth


My eyes clouded


Hair matted


I’m strung together


With thread made my


Memories of your abandonment


With my womb infected with


Hatred of you.


You made me do it!


And part of me will always hate you for that.

There is nothing quite so demeaning as feeling used and discarded. This was both imaginative and visceral and I liked it very much.

This may be dark but it is also ultra dramatic and vividly expressive. You really digestd your topic and spit it out whole as a great piece of art.
