Euphoria rushes through my brain


It grips me with iron claws


Squeezing me tighter and tighter


I could stop, but why would I want to


It's the flower in my heart


More precious than the most


Exquisite gem


As long as I keep it alive,


I stay alive


It's grip may tighten


But it will never hurt me


Alone with that elated lover


Running through my veins,


I don't need anything


Except that precious flow

the feel of passion rushing is certainly addictive, one of the strongest affirmations that we are alive...especially when so much else in life attempts to deaden our spirits...
