chilling my skin. Whispers in
the air,shadows riding low. A
little light is shining from the
the moons glow.
Stand still my mind, please
don't drift, for the day has been

from a life too far gone.
Dreamless sleep, come comfort me,
give me rest, just one night please.
If I do not wake to the morning light,
at last my spirit will be at ease.
