Joshua came to live with us when he was three weeks old. He was only given a year to live, but he lived longer.

Joshua,child of God, sent
to us from heaven above.
You've blessed our hearts and
lives, with your innonce and
love.

Oh Joshua, angel of God, held
in great esteem most high. God
gave you life and strength, but
he forgot to give you sight.

There is an illness with in
that will not go away. Its
slowly wearing you down, as
life goes on, day by day.

Through it all you have
remained ever gentle, ever
sweet. Your presence in our
lives has made our world more
complete.

Joshua, when the angels come
and take your little hands,
you'll fly away on silver
wings to Gods promised land.

You'll have no pain or
suffering. You'll be able
to run, jump and play as you
see the sunlight stream through
heaven, with its golden rays.

Our ancestors will be there
to meet you when entering paradise
through heavens door. There you
will live with our savior,
forever and ever more.
