I just wrote this for our son Rick, who is away from home and family.

We love you our son,
more than you know.
The memory of your face
time cannot erase.

We miss you our son,
with your endearing smile.
We wish we could see you
and talk for a while.

We pray for you our son
through each long day,
for God to guide you,
while going along lifes way.

You're in our thoughts,
you're in our hearts.
Neither time nor place
can keep us apart.

Some day soon you'll
come home to us.
We'll give you love
with lots of trust.

much we care.
