A journey to my home state of Vermont

In the stillness of dawn,
I hear them calling me,
back to the quietness
and serenity of the woods.

I see green against green,
trees of different kinds
while smelling the freshness
of the forest.

Clear sparkling waters cascade
over rocks down the mountain
side, to the valley below.

I feel alive, in touch
with nature and the infinite
power from above.

Devouring the pure essence
of Gods creations, I enjoy
tranquility, solitude and
beauty of life.

I'm in the mountains .
I'll stay a while as
my heart is enriched
and made new.
