It is comforting to know that we can overcome our mistakes and sieze another chance to right ourselves, if we have the will to do so. I think George has the will. I like his paradoxical philosophy that being imprisoned can help him to become free. I think George is on the right track! Thank you for posting this!

George, I'll not pity you for what you write of is inspiring and truth. When we come to God we are leaving a prison made by he of this world. When the Lord died at the cross he went to hell took those freedom keys that allows us to live free and better indeed we are....

What a touching write, I visited a neighboring church a few months ago where an 80 something year old man was holding revival. He was from Indiana and a fireball for the Lord! He spoke of how it takes different situations, circumstances, and events to change people's hearts. He also cautioned people for being negative about men who get saved in prison...he told how he knew a man whom was one of the worst outlaws ever, who didn't care what he did or who he hurt to get it done! He spoke of this man being shot, numerous times, of being beaten and of living a long term in prison...he then went on to say that this man was himself! He told of how he turned his life around and had been preaching the gospel for more than thirty eight years...and had endured much since then, how he had been escorted from street corners for declaring God's word, how he had been shot at in the inner city because he proclaimed Jesus' name, and much more...this little old man was a powerhouse and living proof that prison sanctification is real! A wonderful write, full of hope and encouragement...I have wanted to share this man's testimony with someone for a long time, but never did feel the opportunity was quite right, until now! I know a bloke who said he was freer in prison than on the outside, because the Lord grabbed him. There are more in prison outside than in.

For whatever reason he's doing porridge, if he's accepted the Lord then his slate is clean. "To set the prisoners free" Jesus came for us sinners. ONLY....
