Many years ago I met a woman named Susan . She told me about her courtship with her husband . I wrote this poem for them.

The lion and the lioness
met one sunny day
The lion and lioness
decided to play
They could not deny the
emotions they felt,
They were consumed with
passion, predestination had delt
A courtship soon began as
they met at clandestine places,
intimate resorts
Their feelings ran ramport,
emotions were strong
Surely a love like this
couldn't be wrong
A union was formed with a
bond so great,
It transported them into
a marriage first rate
Now they are together,
body and soul
When they unite, love's
gloy unfolds
They are transported as one
to paradise lost
On the wings of Pegasus,
