Rich as a keen eye for nature, considering his young age, MaryGrace. For being just 8 years old, this is an amazing poem. The writing love bit me at age 8, too. I wrote short stories for 6 years and finally discovered poetry at age 14. I hope Rich continues to write and I hope his teachers and your family continue to support his efforts, since good writers are sorely needed among our youth.
It's nice to know that some children, today, can still form a thought beyond 15 abbreviations in a text message!
