I think you are right, if you travel the same way, both ways. But if you go from here to there as the crow flies, then go from there to here by a winding road, it could be many miles longer!!

...perhaps what I learned...the things I saw...on the way to there...might have a shorter distance returning here...because I could no longer see to find them...or ignored the beauty in there difference in the amount of time I was gone...now just passing it all by. ...much introspection and reflection here...many ways to look at it...many rivers to cross...
