Judson passed away on Wed June 16,2010 at the hospital.

On June 11, I wrote about what was happening with our son in laws father , Judson.

He was admitted to the hospital on June 5 with abdominal pain. The Dr thought it was his appendix and removed them. Pathology tests showed there were ok. He still continued to have some pain . They thought it was s because of the surgery and sent him home on Wed morning, June 9.
Later in the day , my daughter called and asked me to come to their house!( My daugher and son in law live next door). Judson was in a lot of pain . His right arm was numb with no feeling or color in it. He could not move it!
I suspected he had a blood clot and told them to call 911.

He was readmitted to the hospital, started on Heparin Via Iv to dissolve the clot. They did more tests and discovered an abdominal anyerusim and that the aorta had two tears in it and was slowly sherding apart. Nothing could be done for him .

Hospice was called in. All his family came last weekend to see him .
Judson wanted to come home, so a hospital bed was sent to our son in laws house . Hospice nurses would come to help care for him and we said we would help also, as both my daughter and son in law work.

The Dr said if he could walk , he could go home. Last Wed., Judson had a great day. He walked with the therapist , then with his daughter , who was here from Miami. Late in the day , he wanted to walk again. He was happy and excited about going home.

Margaret, his daughter and our son Rick had walked with him . He was smiling and waving to everyone. He was almost to the bed in his room , when he cried out and slumped to the floor .They tried to hold him up , but couldn't. Debbie screamed "he fell" and the nurses came rushing in .
He was dead! I think God was mericiful in taking him so quickly!

Judson leaves four children , six grandchildren, and three great grand children . He lives on through them .
He was a good christan man and will be missed by many.

His funeral is this coming Friday.
