Some of you have been kind enough to ask how we are. This is some of what has been happening in our lives.

In March I was given some wrong medication and suffered some bad consequences from it. Luckily ,I recoverd and am ok..At the end of May, I had major abdominal surgery, later developing a hemotoma which grew to be the size of a grape friut in my stomach. They had to do emergency surgery and found a bunch of large blood clots in my abdominal area which they removed. It's taken quite a while to recover! I'm sure not as young as I once was and it seems it takes longer for things to heal.
I also became depressed and was on a low dose of Prozac for a while. The good thing about all this is; I lost some much needed weight! I'm once again Slim And Trim!!!! (HA) I feel good and have finally started writing again.

My husband, Richard has continued to have cardiac problems and has been hospitalized numerous times. His heart will not stay in sinus rhytum because two of the valves are stenoised and starting to close. The Dr says he will not live through open heart surgery to have both replaced! His options are not good at all.
Right now mediaction is helping him. We both continue to savor each precious day life has to offer.

We were both diagnoised with eary Alzheimers. I was in 2007 and he in 2008. We are not doing too badly right now. The medications, Namenda and Exelon,plus many B vitamins have delayed the illness quite a lot. We both have some memory loss , but its not bad and we can still function normally. We continue to count our blessings daily.
