Robert Goddard paid attention to his rockets, not to the criticism that swirled around his ideas. He suggested not only that we dream, but that we be open to replacement dreams. He lamented anyone limited to just one dream.

So true. Just yesterday my brother wrote me and told me of two failed (government-subsidized) electric car companies that failed in his local Elkhart, Indiana area. He seemed to forget all the failed gasoline and diesel engined cars of the past.
It is dreamers like Elon Musk who are the Goddards of this century. Many of whom we won't know because they failed, until those ideas they had become great.
