Dig A hole, Toss me in. Original title.

The dirt is covering my face.
Going passed the shit that hurts.
Sinking in this dirt so long.
Respite, spite, respite.
I never knew that I’d
be here but just a moment.

Crossing the other side,
there’s pockets to be cleaned out.
Questions with no answers and
answers I can’t abide.
I’ll never get away from me.
You’ll never get away from you.

You’re still in my heart love.
There was no need for suicide.
You took one look and knew
that we’d never change our mind.

If people only realized that suicide is not the end and not the answer. You take your problems with you to the other side and they are much harder to resolve from there...maybe that is the definition or threat of "hell" for those who do take their lives...

In any event...good provocative read my sistah! Come over and see me sometime!

Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, or so the old saying goes. I have never had a friend or relative commit suicide, but I know what a terrible thing it is for others. Life is a strange journey, and the end comes soon enough.

Janet, As I'm listening to Alan Parson's "To One In Paradise" this poem hits home.
Thank you for this poem and Thank you for responding to my short story. I'm now writing another mystery.

Janet this poem is really rich in contrasting emotions and situations! It made me read it thrice and I love it! I guess we are all covered with shit and earth somewhere, sometime and by someone...

Janet so glad you are back with us again ... with a topic that cuts to the quick. A plunge into the reality of death that might have been avoided? I surely have no words of wisdom to offer, but I do have sympathy in my heart for you and what happened. Bill Murray
