Oh you would like the world to think
That your manly pride just went to your toes
You’d like to tell others about shame you felt,
Well, mister, let me tell you, what one little wife knows.
Many excuses you have on hand
To delay those Walmart shopping trips
You’re quick to murmer and complain
About those outings that I adore.
You’re fast to pinch your wallet there
As into your pockets your hands quickly slip.
But I just smile and pretend I don’t see
For after all, you give in and go with me
And you pretend to struggle and groan
With boxes of furniture. And all for show,
To try and make me regret that I asked.
But I’m saving you money, for the same item
Would cost three times as much, if delivered.
And the first lady that helped you, caught you unaware
In the performance that you demonstrated there.
She squatted down in front of you, with her legs open wide
In those tight little shorts, that caught your eye.
You called her eyes catty but ‘twas plain to see
That they sparkled and winked at you and not me.
And the second girl about seventeen
Young and vivacious, such a beautiful thing
Caught you standing much too close to her
As she accidentally on purpose made her thrust.
Then hugged you and kissed you and apologized
As you sneaked peaks at me and feigned surprise.
No, it was not a “Wuss” that you felt like that day,
But a man quite proud to have those two ladies come his way.
You were walking on clouds as your ego soared.
You quite enjoyed your trip to the Walmart Store.
You thought you had an ace in your pocket
And pretended shame to keep me from fighting.
But here are the facts that you don’t know.
I can’t blame any woman for wanting gold
For you are the real thing, a treasure so rare
And both of those “ladies” saw me standing there
And knew they had to go through me to get to you.
And I wasn’t going anywhere! (wink)
