This is the portrait of Allen that I just finished. Well, I still have to sign it and frame it, but it will be the first charcoal piece that I have entered in competition. I love working with paint, but thought I would do something different this time. Oh, yes, thank you Allen for the nights of posing, after long days of work. I am very grateful to you.

That whisper their appearances
In segments of delusional detachments.
Shed a tear for all those that would be
But never can be
Unless they dare present themselves
In boldness and for longer periods of time
To the one that can take them
And with hands that long to display them
And present unto them mass and form
Shadow and light.
Hands that await barren but not empty
Caressing tenderly the brush that is eager
To capture on canvas the mysterious
Enigmatic dance of that sweet illusive image.
