Poet-Poetry
-Abul Khaer Ruhul Amin

Let me display, Mind

Let me display, mind
As high-soul.
Let me sacred, make cheerful
Make beauty also.

Let me be conscious, get ready
And be valiant.
Let me do well, be diligent, be fearless
Let me display, mind
As high soul.

Let me unite with one and all
Oh dear ! Make free
Let me fetch to all steps
Your motion seemed be mild.

Let me make gesture, mind in divine foot
Let me be delighted, be delighted
Oh ! Be delighted.

Let me display, mind
As high-soul.

- Rabindranath Tagore

Interpreted by A.K.Ruhul Amin

Insurgent (summarized)

Call Valiant
Call Top my head
My head not defeated to top the Himalayas
Call Valiant.

Call Intersect sky of universe
Moon sun planet star
Earth globe God
Becoming ever wonder
Of earth universe.

My Holly mark painted on forehead
As victory
Call Valiant
Call Top my head.

Great rebel would be silent
I should be silent
While persecuted weeping would
not be anywhere
Oppressive falchion would
not be anywhere
Super insurgent would be silent
I should be silent

- Kazi Nazrul Islam

Banalata Sen

Walking on earth since century decade
Silon to Malay sea in dark of sea
A lot of walking ; As gray earth of Bimbisa
I was here ; More away at a dim city Viderbha
I am weary now ; Frothy sea life all around
Banalata Sen of Natore touched me a little peace.

Hair as dark as Vidisha
Face as artisan of Sravasti
Sailor lost way far away on sea
Though cinnamon island, he feel green world
Saw her in sinister ; She asked “Where were you in long away ?
Banalata Sen look at me with bird nest.

After daylight , evening comes
Like falling dew
Kite remove wing smell
Manuscript weeps
After extinguishing color of earth
Then the firefly makes sparkle
All birds return nest- all rivers fall into sea- life is going to be silent
There is dark for speaking with Banalata Sen.

- Jibanananda Das

Translation by A.K.Ruhul Amin

Evening

Please stop your motion, evening
More a short while with slight step

Shall ignite star in your shadow
Paint moon tinsel on your foot
Listening as drone melody, sleep in forest
Have filled vermilion in sky
My colour as in cloud series
Have put light on way
Where will you go ?

In this silent evening
Intend to say
Nothing to say

Please stop your motion, evening
More a short while with slight step

- Jasimuddin
Translated by A.K.Ruhul Amin

Great Life

Oh ! Great life, need not poem
Give me stern prose
Remove beauty and melody
Knock with hammer of prose.
Need not oily poem
Poem, let you give leisure today
Earth is as prosaic in hungry world
Hunter's moon is as dazed bread.

- Sukanto Bhattacharya
Translated by A.K.Ruhul Amin

A Tale

A juvenile
A juvenility
A green park

A male
A female
A solitary cottage

A male
A female
A swing
Over-soft baby on the swing

A male
A female
A pair graveyard

A boy
A girl
A green field
Red ball on the green field

A juvenile
A juvenility
A green park

- Shamsur Rahman
Translated by A.K.Ruhul Amin
