Sit and think and read


and let Bukowski write of the women


he last loved.


I hate women.


 


Sip black coffee – think of Ferlinghetti


and his strange multiple mentions of


eagles.


I never liked birds.


 


And the beat goes on.


And the beats go on.

I don't know if Bukowski liked birds either, but he sounds like he flipped the bird a few times.
