I used to fear that I'd be in my forties, packing school lunches, giving numb kisses, and screaming for freedom on the inside.
But I'm not worried about that anymore.
I'll just sit here in my twenties, and listen to the incessant beeping of the phone off the hook, staring at the cracks in my walls, collecting the pools of sorrow that leak from my eyes and drip from my chin.
do one and you will certainly never have to worry about the other. i hope this is just a poem, it is an excellent one, by the way...but no way for you to spend any part of your life...although i have spent a few days like that myself
